Cow Sanctuary
Goloka Prema Dhama is a small and sweet community revolving around our loving pets. They’re a bit non-traditional for American pets, but they are definitely furry, super cute, and love attention. The difference is that our pets weigh a little over 600 lbs! That’s right, our cows are lovable pets who get to live a long and happy life at our sanctuary.
Cow cuddling
Spend time petting, feeding, brushing, and hugging cows, sometimes, cuddling with them. If you are lucky, then we will show you how to milk them too!
• “As a psychologist and someone who herself experienced it, being with cows is extremely therapeutic,” says Dr Ritu
• Cow cuddling is believed to promote positivity and reduce stress by boosting oxytocin in humans, the hormone released in social bonding. The calming effects of curling up with a pet or emotional support animal, it seems, are accentuated when cuddling with larger mammals. – BBC

Go Puja
Goloka Goshala is Michigan's first and only Goshala. Vedic scriptures state that all gods reside in the body of a cow. By serving cows, we can please all the gods and satisfy our forefathers. Our goal is to show our gratitude to cows and provide them with a comfortable space to live.
• Worshipping the cow is a custom in Hindu tradition. Go (cow) Puja (worship) is to worship the Goddess of the cows Kamadhenu, the bovine Goddess who fulfills one's wishes.
• Performing Go Puja is known to remove all negativity in one's life and to be blessed with abundance, happiness and prosperity.
